Nicolas is a partner in the Wealth Strategies Service Line, where he focuses on trust and estate planning and administration, probate litigation, business succession planning, insurance and tax planning, and elder law. He is skilled in the area of sophisticated estate planning and wealth preservation and frequently helps clients develop and implement strategies to efficiently protect and distribute assets.
Nicolas is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA), Toledo Bar Association, and Lucas County Bar Association, and he serves on the Boards of the Toledo Estate Planning Council and the OSBA Young Lawyer Council. Nicolas is also a graduate of the Ohio State Bar Association Leadership Academy.
Nicolas earned his J.D. and undergraduate degrees from the University of Toledo, graduating cum laude with both. At The University of Toledo College of Law, he served as the Executive Board Secretary of the Student Bar Association, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Student Legal Services, the Social Chairman for the Graduate Student Association, and as a member of The University of Toledo Student Diversity Advisory Council.
Nicolas enjoys spending time with his wife Angela, who works as a paid media strategist, and their two children. They are lifelong residents of the Toledo area and remain involved in a variety of local organizations.
