In addition, he has served as trusted counsel to collection agencies and debt buyers, advising on regulatory compliance and risk management. His practice is grounded in a deep understanding of the laws and regulations impacting asset recovery, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and a broad range of state and federal consumer protection statutes.
Since 1997, Rich has represented clients in matters ranging from pre-suit negotiations and litigation to post-judgment collection efforts. Among those he has represented are:
