A member of the Litigation & Disputes Service Line, Ronald concentrates his practice on representing major stakeholders in a wide variety of bankruptcy and restructuring matters throughout the United States. He has substantial experience protecting and advancing the interests of secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, and others in connection with insolvency proceedings.
Working with both domestic and international businesses across diverse industries, Ronald regularly advises clients regarding credit risks associated with multi-jurisdictional and cross-border transactions and proceedings under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code. He also has significant experience in:
- Complex commercial litigation
- Bankruptcy litigation involving fraudulent transfers and preferences
Prior to joining Shumaker in 2019, Ronald practiced in Miami, where he was an associate in the bankruptcy and creditors' rights practice of a large regional firm.
