A registered patent attorney, Scott is a member of the Intellectual Property Service Line, where he focuses on trademark, patent, and copyright law.
Scott earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Toledo. During law school, Scott was twice elected the Vice President of The University of Toledo Student Bar Association, as well as being named Best Oralist, first round, at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition.
