An accomplished intellectual property (IP) attorney, Spencer guides individuals and businesses through the complexities of patent prosecution and IP litigation. He leverages his electrical engineering degree and experience working on patents involving machine learning, fintech, wired and wireless communication, software, consumer electronics, semiconductors, and medical devices to serve his clients.
Spencer has extensive experience in:
- A variety of IP matters, including patent preparation and prosecution involving sophisticated technologies for several Fortune 500 companies
- Representing clients in high-stakes personal injury litigation involving products liability and vehicular collisions that resulted in catastrophic injuries or death
A graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law, Spencer earned his Certificate in Intellectual Property Law along with his J.D and served as the managing editor for the Journal of Law and Technology.
Outside of work, Spencer enjoys playing golf, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three dogs. He is an avid Clemson Tigers fan.
