Partner, Labor & Employment Regional Service Line Leader

Jason is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Labor and Employment Law. Employers turn to Jason for his experience handling a broad range of employment disputes, including wage and hour litigation, discrimination and retaliation actions, restrictive covenant and trade secret claims, and other employment litigation. He regularly conducts manager and employee training.

Jason has experience on employment issues such as:

  • Federal statutes, including Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Development and preparation of employment policies, employee handbooks, and employment and independent contractor agreements
  • Restrictive covenant agreements and severance agreements

Jason has authored numerous employment law articles and frequently lectures on federal employment regulations and sexual harassment legal issues.

Outside of the office, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball and other sports, fishing, and cheering on the Florida Gators.
