Stacy has successfully litigated against insurance carriers who wrongfully deny coverage. She represents corporate policyholders in obtaining recovery of insurance proceeds for liabilities and losses relating to commercial, directors and officers, and professional liability policies, as well as construction policies, property and business interruption policies, and employment practices policies. Her extensive experience includes assisting insureds in identifying and analyzing historical coverage, counseling clients in coverage disputes against carriers, assisting clients in policy interpretation, risk and litigation management, and policy renewals.
As a seasoned litigator and negotiator, Stacy also:
- Represents employers and advises them on compliance with Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and similar state and local laws
- Works with clients to develop strategies to resolve complex corporate, real estate, construction, contract, and business tort matters
- Represents clients regularly in both state and federal courts
- Represents clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of dispute
