Known as a leader and trusted advisor, Tom is the former Managing Partner of the Toledo office and former chairman of the firm's Management Committee. His practice includes acting as outside general counsel for small and medium sized businesses. Clients look to Tom to help them identify and solve a host of legal issues, including representing individuals and business clients in commercial disputes involving:

He has substantial experience in obtaining injunctive relief to prevent unfair competition and the unauthorized disclosure of trade secrets.

Tom is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels and superior ethical reputation. In addition, Tom is a member of Legatus, a membership organization for Catholic business leaders committed to learn, live and spread the Catholic Faith.
