Jeffrey B. Fabian

Partner, Litigation and Disputes Regional Service Line Leader

Jeff focuses his practice on intellectual property law, including litigation, procurement, and counseling, as well as other areas of complex commercial litigation. Jeff is a registered patent attorney and Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Intellectual Property Law, and his practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.

Before joining Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, Jeff served as a law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Jenkins, United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Florida. While in law school, Jeff received the Florida Law Review Outstanding Associate Editor Award, and he earned academic awards in trial practice and appellate advocacy.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jeff worked as an engineer for Northrop Grumman Corporation where he conducted hardware and software testing for military surveillance aircraft. Jeff was responsible for maintaining a variety of aircraft subsystems, such as radar, navigation, communications, user-interface, and pre- and post-mission data processing. As an undergraduate at the University of Florida, Jeff worked as an intern in a semiconductor fabrication facility where he assisted with developing manufacturing processes for computer microchips.
