Abbey is a senior paralegal in the Labor and Employment Service Line, where she draws on her more than 17 years of experience to guide clients through complex immigration law matters.
She began her career in the Environmental and Energy Service Line, focusing on litigation involving substantial document-intensive matters that required sharp database management skills and client interaction to obtain the necessary documentation to respond to government document and discovery requests.
These document management skills later led her to the immigration department, where she now assists employers with obtaining temporary and permanent visas for skilled foreign workers, including but not limited to coaches, athletes, physicians, managers, executives, scientists, and Information Technology (IT) specialists. She has extensive experience in obtaining E, L-1, H-1B, O-1, and TN visas on behalf of foreign workers, as well as permanent residency based on employment and extraordinary ability in athletics, the arts, business, or science. She also has experience in family-based green card applications, National Interest Waivers, H-1B cap exempt petitions, and J-1 Waivers.
In her free time, Abbey enjoys traveling with her husband and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes!
