Hardworking and dedicated to his clients, Charlie is a member of Shumaker’s Corporate, Tax and Transactions Service Line.
Prior to joining Shumaker, Charlie earned his B.A. in Government and Psychology from Wesleyan University. During his four years of undergraduate study, Charlie held positions with the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, the law firm MinterEllison in Melbourne, Australia, and the congressional office of former U.S. Senator Bill Nelson. Charlie worked as a paralegal at the law firm Proskauer Rose in Washington, D.C. prior to attending law school.
Charlie is a graduate of William & Mary Law School, where he competed as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and participated as a member of the William and Mary Business Law Review. During the summer between his 1L and 2L years, Charlie interned with a Kosovo-based non-governmental organization (NGO), but because of COVID-19 was forced to do so remotely.
Outside of work, Charlie enjoys playing golf and tennis, spending time on, in or near the water, watching sports, and hanging out with his dog Daisy.
