Associate

An associate in the Labor and Employment, and the Litigation and Disputes Service Lines, Haley is a passionate advocate and works steadfastly to represent her clients' interests thoroughly.

Before law school, Haley was a full scholarship student-athlete at a Power 5 conference. She played  Division I volleyball for the University of Virginia and this experience taught her the importance of active communication, team work, and time management all while fueling her competitive nature. A four-year starter, Haley also excelled in the classroom as a three-time All-ACC Academic Volleyball Team and four-time All-ACC Honor Roll honoree. She is now retired from her volleyball career with only a few bumps and bruises to show for it, but finished her career as the fourth best hitter in program history.

While in law school, Haley spent her time working as a summer judicial extern for Judge M.K. Thomas of Florida’s First District Court of Appeal, a research assistant for Professor Wayne Logan, and a summer associate with Shumaker’s Tampa office in 2019. She also received a Book Award in Constitutional Law and served as a Staff Editor for the Florida State University Law Review.

Outside of work, Haley enjoys reading on the beach, exploring Florida’s natural springs and wildlife, and cheering on the University of Virginia Cavaliers and Florida State Seminoles. Family and friends play a significant role in Haley’s life and are a driving force every day for her to be the best she can.
