Her law review note, “Mind the Gap-When the Guidelines Lag Behind Statutory Amendments,” was published in the Spring 2023 Issue and proposed solutions to prevent the undercity and inconsistency caused by the United States Sentencing Commission’s long-term lack of quorum.

During law school, Hope was a legal extern for Honorable Judge Jack Zouhary at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States Attorneys' Offices, and the Lucas County Prosecutors Office. She was also a summer associate in Shumaker’s Toledo office.

A breakfast food and roller blading aficionado, outside of the office, Hope enjoys reading narrative nonfiction, watching documentaries, and listing to a wide array of podcasts.
