Patty is a senior paralegal in the litigation practice area in Shumaker's Toledo office and has more than 35 years of experience in the legal community. She has extensive experience in general civil and commercial litigation, encompassing pre-litigation investigation, commencement of litigation, and discovery matters through trial and collection on judgments.
Patty specializes in high-volume party and document actions, including multi-district litigation, as well as all aspects of trial preparation, including attendance at trial and arbitration. She works regularly with multiple software platforms, including Relativity, CaseMap, TextMap, and Sanction, often attending discovery depositions, arbitrations, and trials to manage technical support and presentation of evidence. She has experience in many different venues, including local, county, state, and federal government actions.
When not at work, Patty enjoys athletic hobbies, such as volleyball and golf, and spending time with her family.
