Renowned for his honesty, availability, and fast turnaround time, Scott’s practice focuses primarily on securities law, restrictive covenants, commercial litigation, and arbitration. With more than 17 years of experience, he is a member of a team of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP lawyers who represent large financial institutions in securities litigation and violations of contractual covenants.

Professional employer organizations, corporations, medical practices, large broker-dealers, and financial institutions turn to Scott for representation in both state and federal courts, as well as in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations involving general business litigation matters, restraints of trade, non-service agreements, contracts, and other separation agreements.

Scott’s experience brings real-world knowledge to the table for his clients. He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Tallahassee, Florida and subsequently represented plaintiffs in cases of nursing home abuse and neglect and other mass torts. In addition, he previously worked on catastrophic injury cases across the United States.
