Samantha is a part of the Shumaker's Litigation and Disputes Service Line. Her practice is focused on commercial and business litigation, as well as disputes amongst beneficiaries in trust and estate litigation. Samantha represents national commercial landlords with complex contract disputes, evictions, and collections. She also has experience with litigation surrounding construction defects, employment disputes, and health care matters.
Samantha's practice also includes probate and fiduciary litigation involving contested trust and estate proceedings, and the modification and reformation of wills. She also assists with tortious interference and undue influence claims.
Prior to joining Shumaker, Samantha handled first party property claims. Specifically, she handled property damage claims caused by hurricanes, water damage, fire, wind, hail, and sinkhole. She continues to utilize her insurance experience with coverage analysis of a variety of other insurance policies, including commercial general liability and director’s and officers policies.
Samantha’s experience provides the opportunity to resolve claims through negotiation, mediation, appraisal, and litigation. She is passionate about representing the interests of her clients.
In Samantha’s spare time, she enjoys working out and learning to play golf.
