Scott is a registered patent attorney and practices law in the area of intellectual property and technology law, specifically, trademark, patent, and copyright law.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan, and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Toledo. While at the University of Toledo, Scott was twice elected the Vice President of the University of Toledo Student Bar Association, as well as being named Best Oralist, first round, at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition.
