Steven M. Berman to Speak at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges

TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Tampa partner Steven M. Berman will be speaking on involuntary bankruptcy cases at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ) on October 30, 2018. The NCBJ is an association of the bankruptcy judges of the United States which provide continuing legal education to judges, lawyers, and other involved professionals, to promote cooperation among the bankruptcy judges, to secure a greater degree of quality and uniformity in the administration of the bankruptcy system and to improve the practice of law in United States Bankruptcy Courts.

Steve has focused his practice as a business bankruptcy litigator representing creditors, distressed debt lenders, trustees, committees and business entities litigating disputes in bankruptcy court.  Steve is board certified by the American Board of Certification in both creditors' rights law and business bankruptcy law and is a member of the Florida, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and California Bars.
