Mayts, Jr. has joined the Tampa office as a partner in the Litigation practice group, bringing nearly two decades of experience to Shumaker, in banking and finance and construction related litigation, as well as cybersecurity prevention and response.

Andy is a widely recognized civil litigation lawyer, community advocate, and corporate leader who applies practical experience and seasoned judgment to achieve results. A litigator for nearly 20 years, Andy’s expansive experience includes representing national banks in state and federal court in numerous trials handling the defense of regulatory compliance matters, special assets, and consumer actions against financial institutions. On the construction law side of his litigation practice, he has represented owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors in numerous defect and equitable adjustment claims.
