The conference will be held in Washington D.C. and the panel will be discussing timely issues in avoidance actions, including the circuit splits regarding unpaid new value and other cutting-edge avoidance issues. The NCBJ is the United States Bankruptcy Judges’ professional association providing continuing legal education to judges, lawyers, and other involved professionals, and promoting cooperation among the Bankruptcy Judges to secure a greater degree of quality and uniformity in the administration of Bankruptcy rights and remedies, and improving the practice of law throughout the United States.

Steve is a partner in the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights practice. He has more than 29 years of experience and has focused his practice as a business bankruptcy litigator representing creditors, distressed debt lenders, trustees, committees, and business entities litigating disputes in bankruptcy court. Steve is Board Certified by the American Board of Certification in both Creditors' Rights Law and Business Bankruptcy Law and is a member of the Florida, California, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico Bars.
