TAMPA, FL – Shumaker Advisors Florida today announced that Gino Casanova, the former head of government affairs with the West Florida Division of AdventHealth, will be joining the firm as Chief of Staff. Gino most recently served as Vice President of Business Development at Copypress.

A former legislative aide to state Senator Mike Fasano, Gino helped research, create, and pass more than 100 bills during his time in Tallahassee. After working with Senator Fasano, Gino went on to spend nearly a decade at the West Division of AdventHealth, where he started as a Regional Government Affairs Manager, before becoming Director of Administrative and Government Affairs and ultimately Director of Non-Acute Service Line Development.
An undergraduate of Yale University, Gino earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. He will work out of the Shumaker Advisors’ Tampa office.
