A member of Shumaker's Corporate, Tax & Transactions Service Line, Julianne utilizes her previous experience in estate planning to serve owners engaging in merger and acquisition transactions. She has experience representing buyers and sellers of all sizes, including those engaging in add-on transactions and strategic acquisitions. Julianne analyzes the intricacies of business transactions, understands liabilities presented by a business's stakeholders, and addresses legal matters that arise pre- and post-closing.
Julianne's representative matters include:
- Conducting legal due diligence
- Advising in commercial contract matters
- Securing a significant minority growth investment from a growth-focus private equity firm for a St. Petersburg cybersecurity firm
- Representing a leading bioinformatics company in a strategic partnership with an artificial intelligence powerhouse firm
- Representing a large Florida home health care company in a strategic partnership with a leading provider of home health and home care services
Julianne is a contributing author in the Florida Small Business Practice 12th and 13th editions and has participated in Big Brothers Big Sisters School to Work program. A dog lover, she enjoys frequenting beaches and enjoying Tampa Bay's natural beauty with her husband, trying new restaurants in the area, and visiting family out of town, especially nieces and nephews. She's also a fan of investigative and true crime documentaries.
