Marcus's real estate practice focuses on the acquisition, development, management, leasing, and disposition of commercial and industrial properties, office and retail projects, mixed-used developments, planned communities, and multifamily and condominium developments.
Marcus also has experience in:
- Commercial and residential leasing matters

- Land use
- Environmental liability
While in law school, Marcus served as a judicial extern for both the Honorable Algenon Marbley of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor. Marcus' interest in the legal field was sparked at a young age by movie and television depictions of lawyers working late, sleeves rolled up, eating take-out Chinese food and figuring out a solution to an ominous problem. He chose to become an attorney because of his belief that the law touches every aspect of society. In his free time, Marcus enjoys being with his wife and two children, cooking up something creative in the kitchen, and reading John Grisham novels.
