Peter P. Murnaghan

For more than 40 years, Peter has successfully tried numerous cases before juries involving personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and commercial issues. He focuses his civil trial practice on cases involving highway construction, trucking operations, and industrial plant operations.

Peter has presented appellate arguments in multiple states. He has also lectured locally and nationally on topics such as safety, accident investigations, construction standards, and litigation avoidance techniques.

Peter's practice includes:

  • Representing road contractors in wrongful death, personal injury, breach of contract, and insurance-related litigation
  • Cases involving construction defects, project design, and traffic control
  • Defending public utilities in tort litigation
  • Aviation litigation, including serving on the American Bar Association Select Subcommittee on Aviation Law and the Florida Bar Subcommittee on Aviation and Space Law.

He is a commercial pilot with multiple aircraft ratings and over 2,300 hours of flight time.
