Raven is a member of the Litigation & Disputes Service Line, where she focuses on a wide array of disputes in both state and federal court. She recently helped to secure a full defense verdict absolving her client of liability after three years of litigation and a four-day jury trial. Raven was recognized in the 2025 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.

Prior to joining Shumaker, Raven attended William & Mary Law School, the oldest law school in America, and gained practical experience representing both victims of domestic violence and Veterans seeking disability compensation on a pro bono basis. Raven also worked for the Initiative for Strategic Litigation in Africa and pursued women's human rights through the drafting and filing of amicus briefs in the highest courts of various African nations. She was on the executive board of the National Trial Team and a member of the Bill of Rights Journal, where her student note was published. Raven graduated with a concentration in criminal law and as a member of the prestigious Order of Barristers for exceptional oral advocacy. Before law school, Raven worked at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, where she drafted proposals focused on disability programming abroad.
In her spare time, Raven enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and exploring local restaurants.
