A member of the firm's Labor & Employment Service Line, Ryan's practice primarily focuses in the area of labor and employment but also covers an array of general and complex commercial litigation matters. He advises businesses throughout the area on current legal trends and best employment practices, representing clients in numerous industries such as automotive, retail, hospitality, health services, transportation, manufacturing, and construction.
Ryan represents employers in litigation involving claims of:
- Employment harassment, discrimination, and retaliation
- Leave laws
- Wage and hour laws
- Whistleblower laws
- Enforcement of and defense against non-solicitation and non-competition agreements
- Background check laws
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and following Florida State athletics.
