Since joining Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP in 2008, Jenna has worked exclusively in the Corporate, Tax and Transactions Service Line. She has been intimately involved with the formation, acquisition, maintenance of records, and termination of various business entities. Personable and efficient, she works well with clients to prepare and file organizational documents for their respective companies, including, but not limited to:

  • Articles of incorporation
  • Trade name registration
  • Corporate by-laws
  • Operating agreements
  • Shareholder and board of director resolutions
  • Stock certificates
  • Applications for federal employer identification number and certificates of dissolution

Jenna also assists in reviewing, organizing and preparing documents in connection with due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Other responsibilities include preparing and filing Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statements and preparing our firm’s legal letters in response to audit requests received from our corporate clients. More recently, she has also become involved in assisting with preparing and filing initial and renewal franchise registration applications with state agencies. Jenna has found her organizational skills invaluable in handling her varied workload.

When away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and traveling.
