Tommy is a business lawyer whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities, commercial finance, and general corporate governance. He also has experience representing creditors and trustees in federal bankruptcy proceedings and workouts. Tommy transitioned to a corporate transactional practice after beginning his career as a litigator—clients value his practical ability to identify, analyze, and minimize prospective risks as a result of his litigation experience.

Tommy received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he was the recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in the Study of International Bankruptcy, and a quarterfinalist in the 43rd William E. Leahy Moot Court Competition.

While in law school, Tommy was a Law Clerk for the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and interned for the Honorable Catherine Peek McEwen at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, as well as in the Office of U.S. Congresswoman Kathy Castor.

In his spare time, Tommy is a recovering Tampa Bay Buccaneers season ticket holder, serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, and volunteers with the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. His golf game is mediocre at best.
