Jill is an experienced, high-performing trial attorney and qualified arbitrator. She is a recipient of the highest peer rating standard, AV Preeminent, from Martindale-Hubbell, which is awarded to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal acumen, communication skills, and ethical standards. Jill is a member of the Litigation and Disputes Service Line, where her practice areas include civil trial practice, wrongful death and personal injury, construction law, and commercial law. Jill has successfully tried cases before juries and has presented appellate arguments in the First and Second District Courts of Appeal.

Jill has experience in construction, trucking, personal injury/wrongful death, commercial, and product defect litigation, including the representation of clients in Florida and Alabama. Her wide-range of experience includes representing clients in wrongful death, personal injury, breach of contract, construction defect claims, complex commercial disputes, and product defect claims. Jill continues to represent heavy highway construction companies and trucking fleets with operations throughout North America.

In addition to Jill’s litigation practice, she also has experience in pre-litigation dispute counseling and providing corporate training for accident investigations and preservation requirements. She is devoted to helping companies develop practices to help avoid, and protect them from, future litigation. 

Jill was a recipient of the 2019 Bennett Trial Advocacy Scholarship from the Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Section to participate in the South Eastern Circuit Bar Mess Foundation Advanced International Advocacy Course at Keble College in Oxford England. During law school, Jill was a Judicial Intern for Chief Magistrate Stephen T. Brown, won the Advanced Moot Court Competition, was awarded Best Brief in the Advanced Moot Court Competition, received the John Evans Memorial Scholarship for excellence in trial advocacy, and received honors in Litigation Skills Pretrial and Trial courses.
