Terence’s practice focuses primarily on defending medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury litigation on behalf of medical providers and institutions. With over a decade of experience, Terence’s clients rely on him to achieve favorable outcomes in and out of the courtroom. 

Terence has a diverse civil litigation defense background spanning cases involving:

  • Nursing home and long-term care liability
  • Product liability
  • Construction defect
  • Insurance coverage disputes
  • Premises liability
  • Motor vehicle negligence

He has successfully secured several defense verdicts and awards for his clients as lead counsel in both jury trials and arbitration.

Terence began his career in New York City litigating on behalf of medical professionals. He also handled complex insurance coverage investigations and disputes involving a variety of insurance products and litigation across the country. After six years practicing in his native state, Terence and his wife relocated to North Carolina in 2015 to focus on their growing family. Since then, Terence has dedicated the majority of his practice to the defense of medical professionals.

While in law school, Terence was the Notes and Articles Editor for the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law.

Outside of work, Terence enjoys family time and traveling with his wife and three children. He also enjoys staying active and is an avid cyclist. Through his passion for cycling, Terence gives back to the community by regularly participating in group rides and annual charity events that raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, in honor of his late mother.
