Alia A. Kadri

Associate

Alia is a member of the Litigation and Disputes and Labor and Employment Service Lines, where she works diligently to assist clients in contract disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, and labor and employment issues, just to name a few.

In addition to employer defense work, Alia has experience assisting clients in employment-related matters, such as reviewing employment policies for compliance with state and federal regulations or drafting various employment contracts.

Prior to earning her law degree, Alia worked at the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department as the Accreditation Coordinator, where she was responsible for ensuring compliance with national public health accreditation standards and developing and implementing agency policies and procedures. This experience honed her ability to analyze complex information and communicate that information clearly and concisely to different audiences, which transfers over when communicating with and advising her clients.

While in school, Alia served as Executive Editor of the Toledo Law Review, where her note was chosen for publication for the Fall 2019 issue. In addition, she worked as law clerk at a Toledo law firm, which she joined after graduation as an associate attorney in the litigation department, working on a wide variety of civil matters.

When Alia is away from work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and three dogs.
