With more than 30 years of experience in compensation and benefits consulting, Marc provides clients with expertise and counsel in the area of executive compensation. Formerly a principal and leader of the Compensation and Rewards Practice of Findley, Inc., Marc's experience includes designing and implementing compensation plans for a wide range of clients. He has extensive experience consulting with closely held companies with particular emphasis on management compensation and retirement planning issues.
Marc's experience includes:
- Designing and implementing a long-term incentive plan for a diversified publicly held company, including a new stock appreciation rights plan
- Developing a total executive compensation review and compensation strategy, followed by short- and long-term plan design for a privately held company
- Developing a phantom stock plan for a closely held services business, including analysis under IRC Section 409A
- Designing and implementing a board of director's compensation plans for both publicly held and private companies
Marc was a licensed Certified Public Accountant, now inactive; he remains a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting at The Ohio State University.
