TOLEDO, OH – Ten Shumaker attorneys have been selected by their legal peers for inclusion on the 2026 Ohio Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, selects outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process, including a statewide survey of lawyers, independent research of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
The Rising Stars selection process is identical to the Super Lawyers process, with one exception: to be eligible, a candidate must be either age 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less. Only 2.5 percent of Ohio attorneys are selected for the Rising Stars list.
