Shumaker Announces New Partners

Shumaker is excited to announce that seven lawyers have been named Partners of the firm, effective January 1, 2022.

  • Stefan Beuge is a member of the Finance, Banking, Creditors' Rights and Insolvency Service Line in the Tampa office, where he focuses on representing creditors, investors, and distressed debt lenders in bankruptcy, foreclosure, and collections. In addition to his creditor rights work, Stefan also practices in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) law.
     
  • Ronald D.P. Bruckmann is a member of the Finance, Banking, Creditors’ Rights and Insolvency Service Line in the Charlotte office. Ronald concentrates his practice on representing major stakeholders in a wide variety of bankruptcy and restructuring matters, and in related litigation throughout the United States. 
     
  • Grant P. Dearborn is a Board Certified Health Care lawyer with 20 years of health law experience and is a member of the Health Law Service Line in the Tampa office. Grant is also certified in Healthcare Compliance and Privacy by the Health Care Compliance Association and he is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit and County Court Mediator.
     
  • John Pedro Dombrowski is a member of the Corporate, Tax and Transactions Service Line in the Toledo office. John has extensive experience representing closely held businesses and their owners, private equity firms, cooperatives, and other nonprofit organizations. John is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.
     
  • Patrick J. Duggan is a member of the Labor, Employment and Benefits Service Line in the Sarasota office. Experienced in both state and federal courts, Patrick practices employment law and litigation on behalf of management in a variety of complex workplace and business disputes.
     
  • Lucas D. Garber is a member of the Litigation and Disputes Service Line in the Charlotte office. Licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in North and South Carolina, Lucas focuses his practice on commercial litigation.
     
  • Kevin M. Henry is a member of the Real Estate and Development Service Line in the Toledo office. Kevin has developed a wide-ranging real estate practice, including acquisitions, leasing, finance, and development. He has particular knowledge of the multifamily arena, where he often helps clients acquire developments with combinations of debt and syndicated equity.
